Workers' Compensation

Michigan workers who are injured on the job may have rights to workers' compensation benefits. These benefits include reasonable and necessary medical treatment, wage loss benefits, and vocational rehabilitation. Unfortunately, employers often dispute work-related injuries. When a claim is disputed, you should look to a local attorney with significant experience in workers' compensation litigation.

McCroskey Law has one of the premier workers' compensation practices in Michigan. Many of our attorneys have served as leaders in the area of workers' compensation, including multiple chairpersons of the State Bar of Michigan's Workers' Compensation Section. We have also been involved in many ground-breaking workers' compensation cases since our founding in 1949. Our workers' compensation team has offices in Muskegon, Grand Rapids, and Battle Creek to serve you. We also meet with clients in Holland, Michigan.

Please note that as of 12/2011, the Michigan Workers' Compensation Act has been dramatically changed. These changes do not help injured workers, and may cause additional challenges in workers' comp cases. It is increasingly important that injured workers seek legal assistance in this new environment.

McCroskey Law created a booklet, Workers' Comp 101, to provide our clients with general information about Michigan workers' compensation law. However, nothing can take the place of a personalized, face-to-face meeting with a skilled attorney. Contact McCroskey Law today for a free appointment at any one of our offices.
