McCroskey Law Mourns the Passing of Seymour Muskovitz

Our long-time partner and friend, Seymour Muskovitz passed away on May 31, 2012. Seymour will be remembered as a dedicated attorney who fought tirelessly for the rights of the disabled and workers.

Seymour graduated from the University of Michigan, and then joined his father as a Master Plumber. He maintained his master plumber license throughout his adult life-- even after her became a well-respected attorney. He also served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Seymour graduated from Wayne State University Law School in 1972, at the age of 41. He then joined us at McCroskey Law.

He was a renaissance man-- a talented photographer who traveled the world, enjoying good wine, music, and debate. Seymour was also a long-time member of the ACLU, NAACP, State Bar of Michigan, and the Masons of Michigan. We will miss our friend.

Additional information about Seymour and an upcoming memorial is available here.
