Action Needed! Support HR 1982, the Medicare Secondary Payer & Workers’ Compensation Settlement Act!

When Medicare and workers’ comp overlap, injured workers are required to protect Medicare’s interests. However, under the current Medicare system, workers’ compensation settlements are often seriously delayed.

HR 1982 is a bipartisan bill, and would streamline the CMS/Medicare process for injured workers. Direct payments would be available, under some circumstances. To read the bill, click here.
