Boating While Intoxicated

Michigan’s alcohol-related boating laws and penalties differ greatly from alcohol-related driving offenses. An offender may be facing a misdemeanor punishable by up to 93 day in jail and /or a large fine. A third offense could result in a felony conviction. Additional penalties may result in a suspension of your boater’s license but not your driver’s license.
